Founder- Poppy Richards " My journey in dog rescue began when I encountered social media reports highlighting the dire situation faced by shelters, overcrowding, abuse, neglect & food shortages. Driven by a desire to help I established Pawsome Born To Be Free.

We rescue and save dogs who have been abandoned, dogs off the streets, from public and kill shelters plus dogs who have been subjected to being kept on chains and abuse cases.

Clement was found with his brother Cole. They were found on the streets and at risk of being maltreated by the public. He is gentle and affectionate and is looking for a forever family.

Please meet Cole who is 14 months old, he was found on the streets by a few children who showed nothing but compassion & kindness to him. He approached the children almost as if he was asking them to help him & they did just that thankfully.

Here we have Fleur who is 4 years old. Fleur is a gentle, beautiful, calm sweetheart. She is a shepherd with beautiful eyes. She was taken from a terrible place where they had cut off her ear and tail and was starved. She is currently in Wales and is looking for her forever family.

Mr Tom is a senior gentleman, he is 9 years old. He is calm and confident, also very perceptive and responds well to commands., he doesn't need much exercise given his age and he is happy just to lie around and come for a cuddlle.

Oscar is 5 years old. he loves everyone & he is truly amazing with all the other dogs. He played fairy godfather to the tiny babies that we saved as they were growing up. He let them jump all over him, washing them, playing with them all & letting them do whatever they wished to him, without a care in the world .

if he hadn't been saved, it took a lot of persuasion but they finally agreed to hand him over.
Just look how happy he is now, he's super friendly & would be prefect in any type of family .
